Hello, I am Rucha.
I am an engineer from Mumbai with an M.F.A. in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
I am currently working as an Associate Technical Artist on the SMITE team at Hi-Rez Studios. My current responsibilities include scripting tools in MaxScript for speedy rigging, optimization of rigging topologies and skin-weighting new character skins. Previously, I worked as a Character Rigging Intern on the Paladins team at Hi-Rez Studios in Summer 2017. During the internship, I learnt to use 3DS Max, Unreal Engine 3 and Python.
My hobbies include writing, dancing and 'resurrecting' redundant artifacts by turning them into art.
I love researching and experimenting methods to create efficient and innovative setups. It is my professional goal to be a Character Technical Director and help make unique and user-friendly rigs.
